The Veterinary Pharmacists Group is open to all pharmacists engaged, or considering becoming engaged, in the preparation or supply of agricultural chemicals, veterinary medicines and allied products.

- to promote the application of pharmaceutical knowledge within veterinary
pharmacy
- to put forward to the Society's Council the group's views on policies for
development through the policy support unit
- to put forward to relevant Council committees the group's views on implementing
policy
- to advise the Council on any aspect of veterinary pharmacy practice
The group is administered by a committee of seven: two members of the Society's Council and five elected group members. Two additional committee members can be co-opted each year.
